Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo was extradited to the United States last year thanks in part to the mouth of a man known to the media as Edgar Ivan Galvan. We don't have a picture of him, we have no idea where he is, and don't really know anything about him beyond that he has been quoted in the media telling on members of the Sinaloa Cartel. The Sinaloa Cartel is best known as the organization run by Joaquin "El Chapo"Guzman.
Galvan was also a witness in the El Chapo trial (https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/el-chapo-edgar-galvan-trial-cartel-murder-house-776364/) where he is described as a former low level drug runner in Texas.
Galvan is no doubt someone that stays on the run, so it was surprising to find an address listing for one Edgar Ivan Galvan age 42 in El Paso, Texas in public records. We have little faith in him actually being so easy to find, but this is the only result we found for anyone with the name Edgar Galvan that has the middle name Ivan and is the same age as the snitch reported in the above mentioned Rolling Stone piece.
