As a former district attorney, Jackson County Circuit Court Judge David Hoppe is a pig in a robe, and it shows. Just last week he persecuted Keely Meagan by convicting her of interfering with law enforcement for doing what she says is her duty to film the police every time a black person is pulled over. Judge Hoppe told her that she should do it in a safe area, so basically he gave the police a green light to pull over black people in unsafe areas so that good people like Keely can't legally film them.
