EMS was dispatched because a man's wife thought her husband having a stroke, police said. When they arrived, the husband was combative it, and EMS called for deputies to assist. When they arrived, deputies went into the house. The man was combative and retrieved a rifle. One deputy retreated, and the suspect closed door as he went out, then turned the turned toward other deputy. He wouldn't drop the gun and was shot and killed. Home was apparently suffering from Alzheimer's.
