Officers were dispatched to a Walmart for a shoplifting call. After officers found Michael John Stout, he allegedly produced a gun and fired at officers as they began exiting their vehicle. Police said Stout fired multiple rounds and hit the officers' car. One officer fired a round at the suspect from outside the car, while the other officer fired four rounds from inside the car, through the windshield. Stout was shot and killed.
