Police responded in reference to a report of a subject firing shots from a gun. Upon arrival they encountered an armed subject firing gunshots from within the house. The subject was firing rounds into nearby occupied structures and in the direction of police. Police attempted to negotiate, but the man confronted them with a gun, and he was shot and killed.
