Police received multiple reports of a man pinning a woman to the ground and stabbing her around 9 p.m. at an apartment complex, police said. A sergeant responded to the call and found the man, identified 30-year-old William Fuller, attacking the woman outside the complex. The officer reportedly ordered Fuller to get off the woman and drop the knife, but he stood up and charged the officer while holding the knife, police said. The sergeant fired two shots, killing Fuller.
