Police attempted to make contact with a man who had a warrant out for his arrest at a home. As officers approached the house they were confronted by a middle-aged, white male who threatened officers with a ball bat. When officers responded, Johnson dropped the bat and ran toward the back of the home. After being tasered, he continued to fight, trying to bite the investigators. Johnson was eventually restrained and died.
