Deputies responded to arrest Tierre Guthrie for failing to make a court appearance, but police said he wouldn't cooperate. There was a fight and one of the officers shot and killed Guthrie. Deputies Michael Corley and Ralph Sidwell “Sid” Callaway were injured, and Locust Grove Police Officer Chase Maddox, 26, was killed.
