Officers received a call at around 5:10 a.m. Tuesday regarding a dump truck stolen from The Other Place gas station in Milton. Officers caught up with the stolen dump truck about four miles away. The driver fled from police in the dump truck. The truck was cornered by Milton police and Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office patrol cars. The truck reportedly rammed a Milton police patrol car and an SRSO patrol car while cornered, and at least one officer opened fire, killing Edward Matthew Guerrero-Cruz.
