Officers were called to a report of an armed man acting disorderly at Mitchell's Harvest Foods. Officers arrived at around 11:40 p.m. and found a man armed with a knife in the parking lot of the store. The man allegedly failed to comply with orders as he moved toward the officers still armed with the knife in his hand. Three Cheney officers shot and killed Steve Anderson.
