A 911 caller said an Ashland City woman needed to go to the hospital. Enroute to the hospital, the woman, Beth Plant, allegedly became combative and pulled a knife from her backpack. The ambulance driver pulled over and called for help. When a deputy arrived, the woman brandished a knife, and the deputy shot and killed her.
