Troopers received a call from a sheriff's office in Ohio about a suspect traveling in a white box van. Tim Gilbert had warrants for his arrest. Troopers said they located the man, and he refused to stop. He eventually stopped on KY Route 40 at the Martin and Johnson County line. Troopers said he barricaded himself in his vehicle and told law enforcement he had weapons. He was shot and killed about 3 a.m. Gilbert was wanted by the Richland County Sheriff's Office on a charge of felonious assault that stemmed from an incident involving his wife.
