Two APD officers responded to a call at approximately 2:27 a.m. to a convenience store. When they arrived, the clerk said that a man had left the store without paying for a can of beer. When police caught up with him, the man reportedly fled. The officers attempted to arrest him, but he allegedly attacked them. They tasered him, but his clothes reportedly prevented the Taser from working. The man then allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked both officers, who shot and killed him.
