William Owens was shot and killed by police at a UPS warehouse after he took two woman hostage, police said. He was killed when he and the hostages came out of the facility. It wan not immediately clear why Owens took the hostages, or why he held the standoff at the facility instead of elsewhere, but he was formerly employed there.
