A Minneapolis police officer shot and killed Travis Jordan in the front yard of a home about 2 p.m., police said. Officers Ryan Keyes and Neal Walsh both fired their weapons at Jordan after he emerged from his home armed with a large kitchen knife. Jordan was killed after a woman, believed to be his girlfriend, asked police to do a wellness check on Jordan, because she believed that he would hurt himself.
