Gassman was able to get on top of the officer, and the officer pulled out his gun, yelling, I'mma shoot you! Gassman yelled, No, don't shoot! The officer shot at point blank range and after shooting Gassman, shot his own wrist on his left arm. He yelled, Call 911!
