Police tried to stop a vehicle in New Britain. Police said the people inside the vehicle were suspected of being involved in a series of violent carjackings in New Britain and in surrounding towns over the past two weeks. A police chase ended with gunfire. Three people inside the car shot by police; one died. No officers were injured, but that they were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
