Officers responded to a home about 6 p.m. for a domestic incident. The man, who was not immediately identified, was involved in an argument with his father and sister, and had multiple knives on him. The man reportedly had a history of mental illness. Officers were interviewing the man's father when he entered carrying multiple knives, and then a samurai sword. The officers ordered him to drop the weapon, but he allegedly lunged at the officers with the sword, and the officers shot and killed him.
