Walter Wiemann barricaded himself in a house just before noon. Police said he was making threats to himself, others and police. Troopers surrounded the house and called to try to talk to the man. In the late afternoon, police approached the house. The man was outside, and allegedly raised his rifle and aimed at a trooper, and the trooper shot and killed him.
