Officers were called for a report of a possible hostage situation. As they responded, police learned that the 15-year-old boy possibly “had a bomb strapped to his chest and was holding a family member hostage,” police said. Officers arrived to find the boy in front of the house. As they approached, Ruben Urbina brandished a crowbar and approached the officers. He was shot and killed.
