Around 1 p.m., officers responded to a call of a stabbing at an apartment, where a 19-year-old man used a kitchen knife to stab his 34-year-old stepfather. An arriving officer saw the teenager outside the apartment still armed with the knife and tried to engage him. The man did not comply with orders to disarm and began to walk away as a second officer arrived. The second officer deployed a Taser which did not incapacitate him. The first officer then shot and killed him, while he allegedly charged the officer.
