Around 7:40 p.m. police were attempting to serve a warrant. A 38-year-old man was wanted for second-degree assault with a handgun, first-degree burglary, felony menacing, violation of bail and additional charges. When officers entered the apartment, police said the man was armed with a handgun in a small bedroom. He allegedly ignored commands from them and moved the gun toward them. Two officers shot and killed the man.
