A deputy attempted to pull Bernard Ledlow over 7 a.m. Ledlow reportedly fled, firing shots out the back window of his vehicle before crashing at a dead end on Kendalwood Road. Ledlow fled on foot, according to police, and continued to fire shots as he fled into a wooded area with a rifle. A deputy was wounded. Ledlow was shot and killed after several hours of searching for him in the wooded area.
