Police responded to reports of a family violence disturbance involving weapons. A neighbor witnessed a man drag a woman into a house at the end of the rural cul-de-sac. An Elmendorf police officer, the first on scene, called for assistance and indicated a weapon was involved. A Bexar County deputy arrived and the officers made contact with the man in the front living room of the house. The man reportedly produced a weapon, possibly a screwdriver. The deputy shot and killed the man.
