A deputy attempted a traffic stop around 3:50 a.m. The driver fled and the deputy pursued. The pursuit ended when the man hit a fence. Police said the man got out of the vehicle and walked toward the deputy who reportedly attempted to incapacitate him with a stun gun, which failed. The man reportedly fled on foot and reached into his pocket, and the deputy shot and killed him.
