Around 12:30 a.m. someone called police about a car that had crashed into a tree. A man was reportedly waving a gun near a woman, who had been a passenger in the car. Additional callers told the sheriff's office that a man and woman were seen arguing and walking back and forth between the car crash and a nearby apartment complex. Deputies arrived around 12:40 a.m. As they approached a woman standing near an apartment, a man shot the woman, killing her, and three deputies shot and killed the man.
