Officers responded about 11:15 p.m. for reports that a man armed with a handgun who was making suicidal statements and threatening to shoot someone. About 20 minutes later, they found the man, driving a gold Lincoln Navigator. The man was told to stop but continued into his driveway. The man reportedly held a gun to his own head before getting out of his vehicle and approaching the home. He tried to get in through the open garage door and reportedly ignored commands to stop before he was shot and killed.
