Two undercover state agents arranged to meet Omari Thompson in the parking lot of a Big Lots store to buy drugs from him and then arrest him in a "buy-bust." Thompson reportedly grew suspicious and began firing, hitting one agent in the shoulder and leg. The other agent shot and killed Thompson.
