Officers were called to a Days Inn around 1:22 p.m. after a guest made "concerning statements" to hotel staff. After evacuating the building, police went to question the guest only to find he had locked the door and refused to comply with police demands to come out. When police entered the room, Leslie Miller allegedly pointed a gun at them, and they shot and killed him.
