About 10:15 p.m. at a rest area off Interstate 75 northbound, Scott County deputies and Georgetown police officers were assisting U.S. Marshals to apprehend Edward Reynolds of Florida, who was suspected of a bank robbery. Reynolds was shot and killed, and a Scott County deputy was shot in the back during the gunfight.
