Deputies responded around 3:34 a.m. after a woman called 9-1-1 and gave dispatchers accounts of events taking place in the home. When deputies arrived, the woman was seen with two guns in her hand as she paced in and out of her home, threatening to harm herself and deputies, police said. When she activated the laser sight on a weapon, four of the five responding deputies shot and killed her.
