Police said a man was headed northbound on the 99 and went through a fence off of the highway and crashed his pickup truck. Police were headed to the accident when they saw a man in the roadway. An officer tried to make contact with the man, but he allegedly walked toward the officer with a knife, and he was shot and killed.
