About 8 p.m., two officers responding to a call of a person with a gun saw Terrell Eason run toward the intersection of Wayman Street and Cicero Avenue and gave chase, police said. Eason jumped a fence and allegedly got into an armed confrontation with the officers, who fired at least six shots, killing him.
