Westminster police said they received a request from Northglenn police for assistance stopping a vehicle at about 8:30 p.m. A male passenger in the car was wanted for kidnapping, auto theft, domestic violence, harassment and eluding police, police said. Northglenn police had attempted to stop the car at 104th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, but the driver fled. Officers stopped the car at 92nd and Wadsworth Parkway, where the suspect got out of the car and fled on foot Police said the man was armed with a weapon and a Northglenn officer shot and killed him.
