About 1 p.m., a 911-caller reported a man was standing in an intersection with a knife and threatening motorists, police said. Two patrol officers approached the man. The man ran toward a Circle K, and the two officers followed, commanding him to drop the knife. The man started running closer to the doors of the convenience store, and one of the officer's used his Taser on the man. The other officer, Raul Navarro, then shot and killed Charles Hutchison.
