Shukri Ali Said was fatally shot around 7:15 a.m. when Johns Creek police were dispatched to the area after a 9-1-1 call regarding a "demented person" armed with a knife. Less-lethal efforts including a Taser and a foam impact round were attempted, police said. Said did not drop the knife, and two officers shot and killed her.
