Officers responded to a domestic violence call just before 6:30 a.m. According to police, the caller said her boyfriend had assaulted her and had a handgun. When officers arrived, they found the woman had escaped the home. The man came outside with a gun drawn, allegedly pointing it toward the woman and police. They reportedly told him to drop the gun and then shot and killed him.
