Deputies confronted a 35-year-old man who had been reported as suicidal by his wife at about 8 p.m. The man had called his wife to say he wanted police to kill him but did not say where he was. At about 9 p.m., deputies found the man's vehicle. Police said the man came out holding what looked like a weapon, and deputies shot and killed him.
