According to police, the Henry County Sheriff's Office received a call about a male subject trying to force his way into a residence. When the man was unable to make entry, he began firing a handgun outside the residence. Police said the man began firing at the Henry County Sheriff's deputies' vehicles when they arrived. One of the sheriff's deputies shot and killed him.
