Three officers with the Clinton Police Department went to a home after getting a tip that a man with outstanding warrants was there. When they got there, officers confirmed Roger York was at the home and tried to take him into custody. He tried to escape by by climbing out a window. At some point during the encounter, York shot at officers, who shot and killed him.
