Officers were called to a Pratt Avenue home by a landlord who was concerned that he hadn't seen his tenant in a while. When the landlord opened the door to the tenant's apartment, officers found the tenant with a knife in one hand, and his other hand behind his back, police said. Miguel Richards would not drop the knife and began to approach the officers. One officer shocked him with a stun gun, and two other officers shot and killed him.
