A Houston police officer was responding to a noise complaint, and when he approached the vehicle that the complaint was made against, he asked to search the vehicle after smelling marijuana, police said. The man tried to run. During a struggle, the officer saw a gun in a holster on the man's waistband. The officer tried to secure the gun, but the man pulled the gun out of the holster, so the officer shot and killed him.
