Two Byron officers were shot while serving a search warrant for drugs in Crawford County. A multi-jurisdiction drug task force knocked on the door of a home on Highway 42 around 2:30 a.m. When no one answered, they went inside. One person in the home started firing at the officers, and he was shot and killed.
