Police were called to the Jet Action Laundromat. The caller said that a man, possibly intoxicated, was harassing and threatening patrons and staff at the business, according to police. Officers responded and upon arrival, they were confronted by a male subject who immediately drew a large knife. Giles took off running, eventually losing the officers who were chasing him. Police ultimately found Giles, who confronted the officers with the knife. He was shot and killed.
