Machemehl allegedly took a 'shooting stance' and pointed a bag containing a shotgun toward police officers. He was confronted by police at the end of a 17-minute car chase after carrying out an armed robbery at a convenience store. Authorities said Machemehl ignored more than 40 orders to drop the bag and surrender.
