Officers responded to calls of a home intruder. Police said a man said someone was trying to kill him and ran off after failing to get into the house. The man then broke into a group home and was harming a girl inside. Upon arrival, police forced entry into the residence and found the suspect barricaded in the bathroom with four females. He had his arms wrapped around a 10-year-old girl's neck. The man fought with Stockton police officers who used tasers and batons. The man died on scene.
