It's reported that Garcia had mental health issues and past drug issues as well. He allegedly pulled up behind an officer involved in a traffic stop, and moved towards the officer with a knife. Two officers fired multiple shots killing Garcia. It's not clear why Garcia carried out the actions that he did before his death.
