Police pursued the subject who had allegedly just robbed a hitchhiker of .22-caliber pistol at his head and took $150 and a fly rod. The subject crashed his van into a tree and fled on foot. the Forest Service officer used the Taser on Dick to gain compliance but Dick became unresponsive and died at the scene.
