Officers were investigating a call involving a man and woman. While officers were investigating, Figueroa fled the area on foot, leading the police on a chase. Police said the man circled back to the parking lot and toward his vehicle, where officers used a stun gun on him. The stun gun wasn't able to subdue the man and Figueroa showed a handgun, prompting an officer to shoot him multiple times.
