Officers were called to Clark Court, near St. Charles High School, for a domestic disturbance. Neighbors said Brown was threatening them and igniting fireworks, which led to a fire. Brown was armed with weapons and failed to comply with officers' instructions. Brown allegedly repeated his threats to officers and approached them. One of the officers attempted to Taser Brown, but it was ineffective. One officer fired at him. Brown was taken to a nearby hospital but died a short time later. Brown was found to have had a BB gun.
